Pressurewasher & Patio

About this site

One person, one category, and no pretend testing lab.

What this site is

Pressurewasher & Patio covers pressure washers and the attachments that make them useful: electric and gas machines by job, surface cleaners, nozzles, hoses, soaps and house-wash gear for driveways, decks, siding, patios and cars.

It is written for one specific reader: someone buying their first pressure washer, who does not know what PSI means and is slightly worried about damaging their house. That is a deliberate choice. Most of this category is written for people comparing spec sheets, and the result is pages that answer a question beginners are not asking.

Who writes it

Mike M. — the hands-on owner behind Iron Mako Media. Mike runs Pressurewasher & Patio, where he works through the pressure washer and exterior-cleaning gear most people buy once and then have to live with. Every pick on this site is his.

That is the whole bio, and the brevity is on purpose. There is no trade license here, no certification, no decades-in-the-industry claim and no test lab, because none of those things would be true. A site that invents credentials is a site whose product recommendations you should not trust either.

How picks are made

Products are chosen from published manufacturer specifications, live Amazon catalog data (availability, current price, current listing details) and the failure and satisfaction patterns that show up consistently across large volumes of owner reviews. Every product is then scored against four published criteria.

What is not done: product testing. There is no lab and no claim of one. Where a pick is based on specifications and catalog data rather than first-hand use, that is exactly what the page says it is based on. The full methodology, including the phrasing rules this site holds itself to, is on how we pick.

How it is funded

Pressurewasher & Patio is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. If you buy something through a link here, Amazon pays a small commission at no extra cost to you. That is what pays for the site.

Commission does not decide what gets recommended or in what order. Nothing here is paid placement, and no manufacturer has any input into any page. The full disclosure spells out the details.

Prices, and why they sometimes disappear

Every price on this site comes from Amazon’s catalog and carries the date it was checked. If the daily check stops running, the numbers vanish after 48 hours and the buttons fall back to “Check price on Amazon”. That is deliberate: the failure mode should be silence, not a stale number presented as current.

No testimonials

You will not find customer reviews or testimonials on this site, because there are none to show. It is a new publisher with no review history, and inventing testimonials to fill a layout would be the single fastest way to deserve no trust at all.

Iron Mako Media

Pressurewasher & Patio is published by Iron Mako Media, an independent publisher of practical buying guides. You can find the publisher at ironmakomedia.com.

Corrections and contact

If something on this site is wrong, I want to know. Specs change, products get discontinued and mistakes happen. Email contact@pressurewasherandpatio.com and it gets fixed. The correction policy is on the editorial policy page, and there is a form on the contact page.

No phone number and no postal address are published, because this is a one-person publishing operation rather than a storefront. Email is the way to reach it.
