Who we are

What we collect

If you use the contact form

We receive the name, email address, subject and message you submit, plus the IP address the request came from. The message is delivered by email to the site owner and is used only to reply to you and to act on what you said. It is not added to a mailing list, not sold, and not shared with anyone else.

Your IP address is used transiently for spam rate limiting (a count of submissions per hour, held in server memory and discarded) and is not stored in any database.

If you just read the site

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which links are clicked. That involves cookies set by Google and processing of data including a truncated IP address, your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you visit and the links you click. We see aggregated reports; we do not see your identity.

Google’s own description of how it handles this data is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can prevent it entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or with any standard tracker-blocking extension.

If you click an affiliate link

Product links pass through a redirect on this site (/go/) and then on to Amazon. The redirect adds our affiliate tag so Amazon can attribute a purchase to this site. We fire an analytics event recording that a link was clicked, which product, and which page it was clicked from — not who clicked it.

Once you arrive at Amazon you are on Amazon’s site and subject to Amazon’s privacy notice. Amazon sets its own cookies, and we do not receive your order details, your Amazon account information, or anything else about what you bought beyond aggregate commission reporting. What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Ever, to anyone.
• We do not run display advertising or third-party ad networks.
• We do not have user accounts, so there is nothing to log in to and no password.
• We do not operate a newsletter, so you cannot be added to a mailing list here.
• We do not use social media tracking pixels, retargeting pixels, session recording or heatmap tools.

Cookies

The only cookies this site causes to be set are Google Analytics cookies, described above. The site itself does not need cookies to function — blocking all cookies will not break anything you can see. Amazon sets its own cookies once you follow a link there.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data about you, to object to processing, and to data portability. For data this site holds, that means contact-form messages — email contact@pressurewasherandpatio.com and we will act on it.

For data Google holds through Analytics, use the opt-out and the Google account controls linked above; for data Amazon holds, use Amazon’s own privacy controls.

California residents: we do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

This site is intended for adults buying tools and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Data retention

Contact-form emails are kept in the owner’s mailbox for as long as needed to deal with the inquiry and any follow-up, and can be deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting on the Google Analytics property.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes — a new analytics provider, a new affiliate network, anything that genuinely alters what is collected — will be described here rather than quietly edited in.
